Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an incredible Hollywood actor and writer who's talents have brought the attention of critics and acclaim. Sagittarius born, Julianne Moore was born on December 3 of 1960 in North Carolina. She is the oldest out of three kids who were born to Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) as well as Anne Smith, a psychologist. She's of Scottish-English descent. Because of her father's work, the Moore family moved a lot and she was unable to form friendships or maintain ones. Moore began acting in plays when she moved with her family to Germany. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. In 1983 she graduated with an B.F.A. Moore made the move into New York after graduating and began her career in off-Broadway theatre. In 1985 she appeared on screen for the first time in The Edge of Night. She played the roles as Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Changes the show that marked her debut. In 1988 she played an actor on the show, and won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her debut on the screen with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first films. Moore received numerous nominations and acclaim for the initial film. Her first lead role came in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg's casting of Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of the top grossing films of 1997, represented a huge moment in her career. She was awarded the SAG award for her work in Magnolia. She co-starred with Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep along with other actors on The Hours, which was nominated nine times for Academy Awards. Moore was also featured in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. In 2014, she starred in Non-Stop. Moore has appeared in numerous productions and films. She's appeared in a number of movies and TV shows. Her latest role was when You Finish Save the World 2022. The career of an actress in Hollywood has been established, as well as her work as an author of children's novels. Her first book Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007, and was a bestseller on the The New York Times. The bestseller was later made into a film, a series, and even into a musical. The book she wrote in 2013 titled My Mom Is A Foreigner also became a top-selling. Moore lives a flamboyant life as an accomplished writer and actress. She split from John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her children. Moore's primary focus is on her family, friends and her work.
